The Art of Marriage Ops began earlier this year as a small outreach to help military families strengthen their marriages when they return home from service. It is now expanding to reach even more people.
So many men and women return from their tours with great joy and excitement to see their families. How long does that excitement last? They've been separated from their loved ones and it is a tough transition from the environment they lived to returning to a life of a normal citizen. It can make marriage tough. It does make marriage tough. Military divorces have increased by 42% since 2001.
The Art of Marriage Ops is giving military families a support system and helping them to strengthen their marriages.
